Skylar & Raven Monsters
Skylar and Raven are two loving cats. Skylar is one of the most friendly, laid-back Himalayan's you'll ever meet, and Raven (a domestic short-hair) is a bit on the cautious side, warming up to people a bit more slowly. We often go to our shore house on weekends. Since neither of them do well in the car, we choose to leave them at home in Philly. We had tried a number of other pet sitting services before The Monster Minders, but none of them gave our kitties the love and attention that they get from The Monster Minders. They seem so happy and content when we return. In fact, as we were writing this, both kitties asked us to say “hello” to The Monster Minders and ask when they will be seeing them again.”

“Cheraya is wonderful! Nin loves her! You may ask how we know this... well... last night we took the pup over to the park after work and on our walk home Cheraya saw Nin while riding her bike, pulled over and Nin ran right up to her... it was adorable. He really likes her (we do too). Her notes are great! I especially love to see the drawing of which toy Nin maimed (and where) each time I get home. My little wackado kills by pulling the squeaker heart right out of the toy's body. Poor bunny, he never had a chance. Everything else is great too... timing and whatnot... It’s really nice having her come in the afternoon . Wednesday has turned into my 'stay late at the office' or 'run an errand' on my way home days, without worrying his little bladder might explode... “I don't know how they are so dead-on in staffing, but they really are! When we first signed up, Eva was our usual Minder. She was incredible: very reliable and caring. She would even leave little drawings and change the words of songs so she could sing them to my dog. A year and a half later, Eva went to work elsewhere (though I still run into her every now and then and she asks about my dog,) and Chris was our new Minder. Again, an incredible companion for my dog. He leaves great notes, and I think he even extends walks when he doesn't have anywhere else to be after my dog's walk. Every now and then a "sub" Minder is needed, and they have all been wonderful as well. More good stuff: they are insured, many Minders are trained in animal first aid and CPR, the owners are some of the most organized and tech-savvy businesspeople I have ever met, & they are big supporters of PAWS.”

“Stephanie is great! Reliable, friendly, sweet with Lucy, and most importantly, Lucy LOVES her. In the "not looking back as she races down the stairs wagging her tail with a big grin" kind of way. (I work from home most days, I totally hear her racing down to greet Stephanie.) Lucy's is a timid dog and thinks many things/people are dangerous and best to avoid, so we are thrilled with how well she responds to Stephanie. Lucy seems to know the routine, as she'll start to hang out by the door most Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, waiting for Stephanie to arrive. Stephanie always comes during the right time span, leaves a nice note, locks the door, etc. etc. Definitely awesome.
