Lailah & Bo Monsters

“Lailah and Bo were the happiest and healthiest we have ever found them on returning from an extended trip. According to Leslie's notes, Lailah only had one outside-the-box poo right after we left town (she tends to do this when she's stressed), which means that she got comfortable with Leslie very quickly. Leslie's notes were detailed and humorous. We had a great laugh reading them! I also liked being able to check online to see the short notes while we were away. Leslie clearly took the time to get to know both cats and to make sure that each visit gave them quality attention -- you could tell by the details she included describing funny things that are so typical of our cats! She even anticipated potential trouble by throwing out the rubberband that came with the mail after she saw Lailah get interested in it -- I had forgotten to mention that our kitties have a bad habit of eating these if they are left out, but she took care of it on her own! Both cats' weights seemed to be the same as when we left, which means that our feeding instructions were followed.  We would absolutely use The Monster Minders again when we are out of town.”

“Jerry is a rescue dog who was found in Camden with a broken leg and cigarette burns all over his body when he was 9 months old  As a result, he is very timid around people he doesn’t know, even now as an old man of 11 years.  When Lindsay and Carrie came over for the first time, they were very patient with him, knowing his history.  By the end of the visit, he had them giving him belly rubs - his favorite!  The Monster Minders have a keen understanding of dogs and cats, and don’t mind getting on all fours to romp, play and get covered in animal hair.  In fact, they seem to thrive on it!  We are very grateful to have found them when we did.  Jerry loves it when they come over to play”

“I just wanted you to know I was really pleased with your service. My Minder left little notes about Bruno's day which I thought was cute. She also seems to have found a bunch of his toys that he loves to hide. He was really good when I got back, what a difference!  He wasn't as needy and clingy as he usually is when I've been away (he didn't even follow me around), and his food bowl and litter box was cleaner than I keep it! “We discovered The Monster Minders last summer (2006). We had only recently moved to Center City when my husband had emergency lung surgery and complications, and ended up spending six weeks in the hospital. I was desperate for help with our rambunctious but lovable Border Collie; I work full-time and between my commute and needing to be at the hospital with Bob, I truly think I'd have lost my mind had I not lucked out and found Carrie and Lindsay's card at the dog park. They are now like members of our family and two of Derfel's favorite people in the whole world. Although Bob is now recovered and retired, they help us out whenever we travel, and knowing they are there if he gets ill again is an enormous comfort. They are so completely reliable and yet so relaxed and pleasant!  It's fun to read the little notes they leave about Derfel's adventures, and sharing them with Bob while he was in the hospital last summer cheered him up and helped him relax and heal more quickly.”
