“The Monsters Minders is a pet sitting, dog walking, "pet services" team which serves Philadelphia.
Before you actually hire them, they'll meet with you (& your pets!) to see how everyone gets along & you discuss your pets personalities, quirks, loves, hates, feeding schedule...the whole she-bang. TMM offer various services - they can walk your dog, pet-sit while you're on vacation, even stay overnight. The prices are definitely reasonable & the sitters are loving & experienced.
I hired them to babysit my three cats while I was away on vacation. Upon returning my cats were happy, the litter box clean & my mail was sitting neatly in my kitchen. My "Minder" also left me a little note on how he got along with the cats & the antics he observed. Most (pleasantly) surprising was that my cat who is the most cautious around new people was instantly affectionate with the Minder. She generally hides under the bed from *anyone* she doesn't know well, but never once hid from this Minder during any of his visits! I was really impressed & knowing that my shyest cat absolutely liked & trusted this person was really impressive! I would definitely recommend this team of people to anyone's pets. I'll be sure to go back to them next time I need a pet sitter!”

Asheley, Strider and Laura Monsters
I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful care Strider and Laura (and Ashley – the cat) received while we were away. Cheraya took such great care of our pets. She brushed and played with them, in addition to feeding and walking them. It seems that Strider even gave her a difficult time at feedings – and Cheraya was able to encourage him (using a little creativity and resourcefulness) to eat. (I am guessing he was a little stressed without us.) She also had to go the extra mile and wash his hindquarters one day – truly service that is above and beyond! We can’t tell you how much we appreciate that a diary was kept of each visit for us to read upon our return. What a bonus to get to hear about each day and night. It was clear from Cheraya’s notes that she understood Laura and Strider’s personalities, and spent time with them accordingly. While we don’t often need walking services, Monster Minders will be the first call we make for our future “monster” sitting and walking needs. I will gladly recommend Monster Minders to anyone who asks.
Please let Cheraya know how pleased we were with the wonderful care she took of our two monsters!!! – and the cat!

“Whenever I have the urge to foster another forlorn shelter mutt from the PSPCA or PAWS, The Monster Minders is always there at a moment's notice to take him/her for walkies while I'm at work. My minder, Sarah, truly loves animals. She is like a second best friend to my foster dogs. I never have to feel guilty for leaving them alone during the day.
MM has some smart customer service features. The walkers leave short but detailed notes about how each day's walk went, plus recently they started posting quick notes online in case you want to hear news about your pet during the day. They also have an online booking system, though so far I haven't used it. Any time I email, I get a response very quickly. And they automatically bill to my credit card and send an email receipt; yay for less wasted paper! Basically MM is everything you could ask for in a pet sitting service, and more.”

When we arrive at home Dexter and Jack are nice and calm,which takes a lot of work :-) Alicia's notes are wonderful and make us laugh and smile because we can picture then both being how she describes. When Alicia came on Friday, Jack and Dexter were so excited, and Dexter brought her a toy, which Dexter does not do that for anyone but us, so we know that she has bonded and earned their trust. I was so happy we found you guys. Remy loved going on walks with all of you & that’s not easy - he’s quite picky! Unfortunately am leaving the Philly area and moving back to Boston. It is purely a career move (again) and I hate it most for Macy as I feel like she has a great routine with Sarah. It will hard to find another service that does everything your group does. I get so sad when I think about leaving Sarah for Macy's sake. I honestly never thought I would be such a fanatic about my dog but maybe there is a bit of guilt on my part that I have such a big dog that loves to run and play and she lives in a city and is kept inside so much of the day. Sarah and your entire group have just been incredible.
Sarah has always been great to work with and I have loved the attention and time she spends with Macy. It is certainly more than a dog walking experience as she really has tried to train and provide Macy with some good skills. I have always been very pleased with the services The Monster Minders provided.
