Whether you’re in Tokyo on business, stuck at the library studying for an exam, or a few blocks away at work, we’re here for you when your monster needs a best-friend back-up. We’re more than just your weekday dog walkers - we’re your Monster Minders. Client-Focused Customer Service & Technology: But let’s face it - we have to keep our human clients happy too! Part of how we do this is through our state-of-the-art website for scheduling and payment. Clients can even check in on their pets in real time from work or play! (Ask for more details about our complimentary online notes.) We know our clients are busy, and we make both booking, paying, and keeping track of pet care visits a snap! Our unbeatable customer service means that you’ll rest assured knowing your pet is in the hands of responsible & punctual caregivers. Our focus is on you. (and your monster, but we think that goes without saying...) You can expect timely and prompt returned phone calls and emails, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Gaining, by Giving Back: Here at The Monster Minders, we realize that not all monsters are as lucky as those under our care. Each year in Philadelphia tens of thousands of pets find their way into local shelters, and sadly, many do not make it out. We are a proud PAWS Partner. We are active in fundraising, volunteering, fostering/adoption, and awareness for our friends at PAWS. We have raised thousands of dollars for PAWS and fostered many homeless monsters along the way. Through our Bubble Trouble program, we have donated hundreds of bottles of detergent to assure homeless monsters are given a warm and fresh blanket to snuggle up to while they wait to be adopted. We’ve even organized yoga benefit nights! (Downward dog anyone?)  Many of our staff are active in fostering activities share their lives with rescued monsters. We have also started a nationally recognized non-profit volunteer group - The Monster Milers. We organize hundreds of Philadelphia runners to grab dogs from local shelters and take them for runs. We also host “Adopt a Running Buddy” events to bring rescue dogs into the running community. We gain so much, by giving back to our community, which is why we’re proud of our record of service to monsters in need. Reducing our Carbon Paw Print: Before starting The Monster Minders, we both worked for an environmental non-profit in the city. When we became business owners, we knew we couldn’t let go of that youthful idealism that tells us that everyone can make a difference. Everyone and every company, that is. In 2006 we launched our Wind Energy Challenge, in which we encourage clients to sign up for Wind Energy through PECO, in exchange for discounts and a matching donation to PAWS. (Bringing it back to pets!) We feel that local, clean energy is an investment in our future, and through our program our clients keep over 50,000 lbs of Carbon Dioxide out of the atmosphere annually. This has been so successful, that it was highlighted on TreeHugger.com We also proudly print all of our promotional materials on 100% recycled paper. You’ll find most of our Minders traveling between clients on bike or scooter for daily visits, minimizing their fuel usage.
