NEWS: Sixteen clients have joined the challenge!  Collectively we’ve kept 47,394 pounds of Carbon Dioxide out of the atmosphere, annually!  That’s more than 23 TONS per year!  (Along with 324 pounds of Sulfur Dioxide & 40 pounds of Nitrogen Dioxide.)  That’s the ecological equivalent of planting 3,222 trees, or not driving 41,112 miles!  And $270 is on it’s way to helping local pets.  We’re off to a smashing start!  Let’s keep it up!   Big ups to Heidi, Rebecca, Blake, Bronwen, Donna, Lucia, Adam, Kathy, Curtiss, Nicole, Kristen, Laura, Elizabeth, Andria, Michael, & Daniel!  They’ve joined over 36,000 Philadelphians that have made the switch to clean, green, wind generated electricity.  Now it’s your turn!
 
Heres the deal:
  1. You sign up to receive 300 kWh’s of pure WIND energy each month (extra $7.62/month on your PECO electricity bill.  You don’t have to switch electric companies...)   That’s only 25 cents per day!
  2. We put our money where our mouth is and pay your first month of WIND energy by giving you a $7.62 credit on your next invoice with The Monster Minders.  (We really care about clean energy...)
  3. But wait there’s more!  We will donate $15 to PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) in honor of each household that signs up.

Annually, the purchase of 300 kWh’s of wind energy per month INSTEAD of coal powered electricity is equivalent to keeping these out of our warming atmosphere:

  2. •27 pounds of Sulfur Dioxide (causes acid rain)
  3. •7.5 pounds of Nitrogen Dioxide (causes acid rain)
