Jill was walking on "the apps" and realized that she wanted to continue dog walking, but do so full-time with support and stability. She's usually the first person her family and friends call when they need a pet sitter so this is a natural progression for her. She shares her life with Luna, a Corgi-Chi mix that she rescued eight years ago. She says Luna is curmudgeonly in her old age but she still manages to get "lose-her-tail happy" when Jill walks in the room. (Dogs rule.)
When Jill isn't walking Luna (or our clients' dogs) you can find her painting, making clothes and picking up skills to put in her "tool box" like embroidery, dye techniques, woodburning. She loves biking and kickboxing. Jill also is an award-winning freelance costume designer and boasts Barrymore Award nominations for "The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales" (2016), "the Light Princess" (2017), and "Treasure Island" (2019) at the Arden Theatre. (We can vouch for Treasure Island as we saw it and the costumes were magical!) She has her BFA from UArts and studied abroad at the London College of Fashion. She continues to design on a freelance basis for local theatre productions (and we are lucky for it!)
You can find Jill minding monsters in Bella Vista, Hawthorne, Queen Village, and Wash West.
