Mutt Strut Magic: A Day of Pup Cups and Good Philly Vibes

We’re still smiling (and maybe a little sun-tired) from this year’s 19th Annual PAWS Mutt Strut! What an incredible day celebrating rescue, community, and the organization that makes such a huge difference in Philly.

This year, PAWS raised over $135,000 to support their lifesaving work—an amazing show of love for the animals who need it most. We’re so proud to have been part of it as a sponsor.

Of course, our favorite part of the day might have been running our pup cup station! We handed out heaps of treats to some very happy pups, and after some highly scientific observation, we can confirm that blueberries were the clear crowd favorite. 🫐 (Mini Milkbones held their own, though!)

Our own Chief Pup Cup Officer, Tui, had a blast making the rounds, saying hello, and sampled a few cups himself. He even got a tarot card reading from the Young Friends of PAWS that foretold an abundance of treats and toys in his future. (Honestly? Sounds accurate.) 🔮🐾 I was hoping his abundance would rub off on me and my raffle tickets, but no luck. (There were some INCREDIBLE raffle items!)


He also LOVED lure course and showed off his "sitting" skills during a round of musical chairs The general idea: A song plays and when the music stops all of the pups must "sit." Last dog standing is OUT! And though we were eliminated early on, we understand the assignment for next year!


We loved meeting new friends, catching up with familiar faces, and bumping into a few of our amazing clients. Events like this remind us just how special this community is. We truly love the work that PAWS does. With both life saving efforts AND low-cost vet services, they're the whole package.
