Pawsitively Back: Reviving Our Blog After a Howl-iday

Remember our blog? Yeah, we haven't posted in a minute. We're thrilled to be back in the blogging game after what feels like an eternity. No one needs to be told that the last few years were WILD with a capital W-I-L-D. Through it all, The Monster Minders blog fell to the wayside, while we were, you know, rebuilding from a global pandemic and trying not to doom scroll like it was our job. OK, so we weren't on a "howl-iday" but isn't that catchy blog title fun?

Our multi-year blogging hiatus may have left our blog quite rusty and our creative gears took a some time to start turning smoothly again. But you know what? It's totally natural to go through breaks. Embracing imperfections makes us more authentic, right? (Or at least that's what I'm telling myself. Carrie gets an A+ for Authenticity!)

We are excited to share practical information for Philly dog parents, along with industry trends, and tips for you to make the most of your life with your monster in the City of Brotherly Love. Peace of mind for our clients has always been our motivation, and we're eager share info that makes you a more confident dog owner. Going on adventures with our own pup is one of our favorite things to do and over the years we've learned a thing or two.

Tons of things has changed in the last few years, but our core values have not. (Shout out to Nikki and Julie who helped create our core values during a manager retreat many moons ago. When things get nutty, we hold tight to them!) We're eager to reconnect in this space with Philly pet parents about the things that mean the most to us (and our monsters.)

Life can sometimes get overwhelming (when clawing your way back from a pandemic) and there are times where we simply cannot do it all. If there is anything that YOU let slide in the last few years, I hope that our return to this blog inspires you to embrace the breaks and use them to recharge and come back stronger. It's almost never too late to revive something. One of my FAVORITE mantras is: don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. In a perfect world I would have been sharing and blogging for the last few years. But here we are, dusting off our blog. It feels GOOD to write again.

Here's to a good, fresh start!
