Coming in 2026: Sponsor a Rescue Romp for a PAWS Dog!

We have big news to share. The Monster Minders has partnered with PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) to launch a brand-new program that brings joy, enrichment, and much-needed outdoor time to shelter dogs across Philadelphia.
Introducing Rescue Romps: a sponsored 60-minute walk / enrichment session with one of our employees that gives adoptable dogs a break from the kennel, a chance to explore the world, and a moment to simply breathe and be a dog. Each sponsored walk includes photos and a "Rescue Romp Report" so sponsors can see the difference they made in a dog’s day.
Where We’re At Now
Right now, we’re in a soft-launch phase with a small group of Monster Minders clients who are helping us test the program. Their early feedback will help us make Rescue Romps sustainable, smooth, and beneficial for the dogs, the shelter, and the community long-term.
When Can the Public Join In?
We will open Rescue Romp sponsorships to the public in February 2026. At that time, anyone in the community will be able to sponsor a walk for a PAWS dog for $50 (or $45 monthly) and receive a detailed report and photo from their pup’s adventure.

Why Rescue Romps Matter
Shelter dogs wait an average of a month or more before finding their forever homes. Time outside the kennel helps them decompress, show their true personalities, and shine for potential adopters. These short outings can have a huge impact on their wellbeing and their chances of being noticed.
We’re honored to work alongside PAWS to create more moments of joy and hope for dogs who need it most, and we can’t wait to invite the entire Philly community to join us.
