Many of our clients know that we also founded a 501c3 rescue organization called The Monster Milers. It's a volunteer-based rescue organization that pairs runners in Philly with adoptable dogs. We have over 400 volunteers that visit local animal shelters to take dogs for runs. We also host adoption events at local races and rescue dogs directly from Philadelphia's intake shelter. Each year we hold a race to fund our rescue efforts, and we just got BIG news for 2015!
We are thrilled to announce that The Rescue Run 5K was awarded “Best of Philly 2015 - Race for a Cause” by Philadelphia Magazine! The Rescue Run 5K is Philly’s only running race to benefit dog rescue and we are so excited about the 2015 event. Participants, volunteers and spectators can expect an award-winning race and over 30 adoptable dogs waiting for you at the finish line. This year we expect 10+ shelters / rescues to join us on race day!
Registered runners all go home with a custom RR5K tech-tee and have the ability to set up fundraising teams on our state-of-the-art race website. We have some pretty sweet prizes going out to the top fundraising teams and individuals, along with prizes that every fundraising runner will go home with!

The Rescue Run 5K is The Monster Milers' main fundraiser for the year and funds our rescue efforts all year long. We can’t do it without the support of the running community! We thank Philadelphia Magazine for recognizing our race, and we’ll be sure to live up to our new title, “Best of Philly 2015!”
