It’s that time of year again! We’re busy planning the 4th Annual Rescue Run 5K. This year's race date is September 25th and we'll once again be hosting a pre & post race Rescue Rally at The Navy Yard. (Sidenote: How did four years go by?) We have a few new tricks up our sleeves this year and some old favorites.
Psssst - that's Minder Steph above. She's a stellar athlete and came in 1st Place Overall female!
For those of you who don’t know, we also founded a 501c3 non-profit rescue called The Monster Milers. We work within the local running community to match runners with adoptable running dogs. You can learn more about our work here.
We'll be dishing out all of the old goodies that our runners have come to love:
Chip Timing
Tech Tees for every registered runner (and race volunteer!)
Food trucks on site with yummy eats
Personalized fundraising pages and RADICAL fundraising prizes
Online Team set up (racing is more fun with friends!)
And the one everyone really loves - We’ll have adoptable pups from local animal shelters and rescues! Each year adoption connections are made! Even if you’re not looking to adopt, it’s a great day to support our mission.
And we have some surprises to come!
All of the funds raised at the race help fund our lifesaving and volunteer efforts.
